HIP DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENTS

The hip joint, whose scientific name is the acetabulofemoral joint, joins the femur and acetabulum of the pelvis. Its primary function is to support the weight of the body in static (i.e. standing), and dynamic (i.e. running, walking, climbing a stair) postures.
